I am an integrative humanistic counsellor, BACP accredited (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy), providing counselling to individuals, couples and families.
I am a qualified and experienced therapist offering confidential and professional service to individual and couples. I believe an overall aim of counselling is to provide people with space to talk and reflect on issues in their life that they feel important, and also ones that are causing distress. I see my role as a therapist to build trusting and productive working relationship with people while providing a safe environment where they can achieve further awareness, alongside exploring ways in which they can cope and manage better. I work with the belief that you know how to support yourself and can solve your own problems, but sometimes you may get stuck in an unhelpful pattern and need someone else to help you to get out of it. I offer long term and short term therapy and personal development.
I work with clear, ethical boundaries and I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society (NCS).
I specialise in couple counselling, working with a wide range of difficulties, including extended families and marital conflict. I offer caring, personal and confidential counselling in clients’ language with an awareness of their cultural and ethnic background.
My aim is to ensure that counselling is undertaken with the context of respect and acceptance. I offer you a confidential, ethical and professional service. A service that is also very caring, encouraging and genuinely supportive. I am a therapist that is genuinely interested in your well-being and committed to helping you live the life that you choose. I believe therapy works and I have seen change in my clients.
